Who is eligible?
The program is basically open for foreign educated nurses who have -
- a bachelor's degree in Nursing completed outside of Finland - BSc, MSc Nursing, GNM (with 2 years Experience) & PB BSc,
- preferably several years of work experience as a nurse and
- intermediate skills in Finnish (minimum A2 level will be taught as part of the program).
Program in a nutshell
- 1 year top-up program (1.6 years for GNM candidates).
- Work for 30 hours per week as a student.
- Earn upto Euros 2000 a month while you study.
- Attend sessions online, complete assignments and write a thesis to be awarded the degree.
- IELTS/ TOEFL/ OET are optional.
- Age is not a bar. Any experience is accepted.
- Study Finnish A1 & A2 levels in India and B1 in Finland.
- Apply to Valvira for issue of the Nursing License to practice.
